The JLTV implementation program is a unitary desire of both the US Army and Marine Corps to create and deliver three categories of military motors and related trucks. The marine distance themselves from adopting the new model if the designers wont make improvements to meet their military needs. The US army and the marines have expressed different opinions on the adoption of the new model where one side is more focused on survivability and safety while the other is more concerned about the weight.
The US Army presented a demand for Humvee recapitalization process in 2010 January. The Army made a request to the Congress to move reserves from securing Humvees to recapitalizing maturing Humvees. The congress turned down the demand. The army was propelled to make another request followed by a demand for recommendations. Humvee acquisitions programs were not arranged past 2012. The Army's truck budget was projected cut down by about 15 percent by 2017 financial year.
The U.S. military authorities show an enthusiasm for universal inclusion for JLTV program, currently, Canada, Australia, Israel, and Britain, have demonstrated their plans take an interest and support for models amid the Technology Development phase. The five nations forecasted that the principal acquisition of about 65,000 JLTVs for the administrations could be expanded if there were worldwide cooperation and support for this program. There are fears however that due to the advancement of the technology in this new project, it would be difficult to export to other nations due to the difficulty to access export license. Based on the different stand held by the US army and the Marine Corps, the implementation of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicles is a dream. The army very ready and positive about the new technology because survivability and safety are guaranteed, while the Marine wants transportability and weight to be improved to suit their military need. The interest of four other nations may also interfere with its implementation.
